Make your own lintel
We have an extensive range of U-shells made of aerated concrete. These are U-shaped elements that serve as formwork for the lintels. With the U-scales you can determine the length of the lintel yourself. They are easy to process because you place them directly in the work. So there is no need to arrange a crane to lift heavy lintels into place!
After creating a temporary support at the window or door opening, you can place the U shells. If necessary, place the reinforcement cage or steel beam and the extra insulation in this. Then you pour the special construction concrete, after which the lintel is ready.
U-shells made of aerated concrete
The advantage of aerated concrete is that this building material has a high thermal insulating effect. It prevents cold bridges, which are heat leaks. Our U shells can be used in walls that are glued with aerated concrete, but it can certainly also be combined with other building materials such as concrete, brick, Poriso or sand-lime brick.
