Difference between sand-lime brick and aerated concrete bevel blocks: The difference between bevel blocks made of sand-lime brick and aerated concrete is mainly in the compressive strength and weight. Lime sandstone bevel blocks have a higher compressive strength, which results in a higher load-bearing capacity. However, they are considerably heavier than aerated concrete bevel blocks. An aerated concrete bevelled block weighs approximately 13 kg, while a comparable sand-lime brick bevelled block weighs approximately 29 kg. The lower weight of aerated concrete bevel blocks reduces the load on the structure and floor.
Aerated concrete bevel blocks:
- Application: Suitable as a partition wall in business spaces, offices, or in homes such as the living room or bedroom.
- Shape: The beveled block has diagonally milled sides at an angle of 45°, resulting in a V-groove between each connection of blocks, both horizontally and vertically.
- Finish: Due to the double-sided bevel, the wall has a beautiful appearance on both sides and no longer needs to be plastered.
- Dimensions: G4/550 quality with dimensions 600x400x100mm.
